The server computer will update and restart itself during the update process, you shouldn't even need a screen on it to get it done!įor the people playing with virtualization of the WSG: How did you get a bootable iso? I have a usb that boots without issues on a phisical machine.

After a few minutes it will update, then you may need to restart the SGS program so it re-reads the server and sees that it is updated. Choose your usb stick unless you want it to format/overwrite the hard drive! If your using a touch pad on your laptop it may disable your touchpad when you press keys, so in this case you'll need to plug in a separate mouse (wired or wireless should be ok, I did mine with a wireless) to do this operation.

It'll ask you which drive to put it on, if there's more than one drives in it (like a hard drive and usb drive). Using your mouse click on the FW while holding the keys down and it'll re-send the firmware to the SG server, and properly format the drive as well (the instructions earlier gets it working but not properly formatted, that's why it's in safe mode). It only stays lit while you holds the keys. Just press shift F on the settings page of Soundgrid Studio and then you will see the FW in the corner of the server box light up. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.Could the problem come because the server is in "SAFE MODE"?I don't think that will cause your problem, but it is easy to fix: I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically.
